Waiting can be the hardest part. Will someone choose us to place their child? Will the two little lines appear this time? Did we get the job we so badly want? Is the treatment going to work and bring healing?
Regardless of what we're waiting on, it can be a time filled with stress and anxiety; or it can be a time where we learn to rest in taking another step in God's plan for our lives. We may not know what lies around the next bend, but He does. Let us learn to wait not in anxiety, but in anticipation of what has already been prepared. Let us look forward to the answer as we take one step closer to where He wants us to be and who He wants us to be. Though the answers can sometimes be disappointing, let us learn to rest in His bigger plans for our lives and trust that He is good.
Let us wait with courage, not worry.
Wait for the LORD; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the LORD. Psalm 27:14
