We All Have a Story

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ. If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so you also share in our comfort.
— 2 Corinthians 1:3-7

Join us as we celebrate National Infertility Awareness Week by highlighting some inspiring stories of others who have journeyed through infertility.

Founded by RESOLVE, National Infertility Awareness Week is a movement to raise awareness about infertility. Infertility is more than just a medical issue; it’s a diagnosis that sets you on a course that can drastically change your “engineered life” as it did ours.  It’s an emotional and spiritual journey as well as a medical one.  As you all know by now, because of the struggles we experienced, Jenny and I are now passionate about telling our stories to encourage other women and couples as they walk through their infertility journey.  What was once a difficult time in our lives is now a unique blessing that we wouldn't trade for anything. It is now our privilege to tell our stories and to remind any of you that are struggling with infertility that you are not alone!

God has a perfect plan for each of us; He designs our stories uniquely to develop us in specific ways, to bring comfort to others and to glorify Him. We learned the hard way that no matter how hard we tried to engineer our own lives and how "good" our plans were, God had a better future planned out for our families. Once we surrendered to Him, the grace, blessings and comfort of our almighty Father began to flow like never before.  If you haven’t read our journeys or know of someone struggling through infertility now that may be encouraged by reading them, we encourage you to click on over to read about Jenny's inspiriting adoption story or our encouraging IVF story

We are excited about what’s coming this week!  We have the honor of sharing the stories of four friends from It’s Inconceivable.  Like us, Allison, Brianna, Rachel and Heather, are eager to tell their infertility stories to inspire others.  We will be sharing each of their testimonies of love and hope through this coming week. It’s going to be a great week!
