Family of Five

As we wind up National Infertility Awareness Week, we have one more story to share with you from our friends over at It's Inconceivable! Today we bring you Rachel's story.  She and her husband have one precious little girl, and twin boys that are awaiting them in heaven.  After reading Rachel's story, I was in tears.  But mostly for the amazing strength and faith that she exhibits through the most difficult time of her life.  Thank you Rachel, for being so transparent and sharing your story.

I’m Rachel. I never know what to write when describing ‘me-in-a-nutshell’, but here goes… I married my hubby almost eight years ago. We went to the same high school, but we didn’t really meet until a few years later (technically, we first met when he was a senior and I was a junior and he gave me and a friend a ride home from school, but he was so much cooler than me at the time, so only I remember that). Once I ‘cooled’ up a bit (that’s debatable), we met again and I guess I made an impression this time. I’m now a mom to a spunky little girl and I love her to pieces! I’m also the mom to my two angel twin boys, who were stillborn, and who I think about every single day. I love them to pieces, too! Life has definitely thrown us some curveballs and the road has seemed extra bumpy these past couple years, but I guess that’s part of life, even though, honestly, sometimes it just straight up blows. As I’m struggling to figure out how to grow my fun little family, which has proven more difficult than I hoped, I’m also learning how to appreciate the amazing things I do have in life. So, come what may!
